Description

Non-firing collector's replica of the Kentucky flintlock carbine by Denix, made of metal and wood with a simulated (non-working) loading and firing mechanism. It is an inert display model that cannot be fired and cannot chamber or discharge any ammunition.

Flintlock carbines used a flint to produce the spark that ignited the powder charge and required manual reloading after each shot. The Kentucky carbine was a shorter, lighter variant of the long rifle, favoured for mounted use during the 18th and early 19th centuries. This Denix reproduction faithfully recreates its historic lines for collectors and reenactors.

Commissioner's Permit or Membership in Collector’s Club under Legislation or Police Regulations is required for TAS and VIC, except for Flintlocks.
Commissioner's Permit is required for NSW, and NT, except for Flintlocks.
