The quality just isn't there anymore.

The ramrod lever retaining hook on the side of the barrel doesn't even accommodate the lever and is bent up in a way that prevents it from nesting. The grips are made from a cheap fragile plastic compared to the Denix of a few years ago.

This replica has its place in history and my collection. In saying that it's a housebrick disguised as a hand gun. It's big and lumpy like Nan's home made porridge. Anyone brave enough to have fired the 20 gauge shotgun round would have needed to hang on. I like it and i don't.
